ST.JOSEPH'S TRAINING COLLEGE, PAVARATTY

The library plays a crucial role in supporting the teaching, learning, and research activities of the college community. With a collection of over 9,000 books, including textbooks, reference materials, journals, and magazines, it serves as an essential resource for academic inquiry. The library also offers a digital section with internet access, providing students with a wealth of freely available e-resources. Additional facilities include reprographic services and a collection of educational DVDs and CDs.

Book bank

The library’s Book Bank, supported by generous donations from alumni, provides textbooks primarily for students who are unable to purchase their own, ensuring access to essential academic resources.

To improve efficiency and accessibility, the library’s operations, including the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), circulation, and acquisition processes, have been fully automated using KOHA Library Management Software.

The library is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on all working days, offering a conducive environment for study, research, and exploration for both students and faculty.
