ACTION TAKEN REPORT
Gathering feedback from students, faculties, employers, practice teaching schools, and alumni is essential for a B.Ed. college to maintain its quality and relevance in teacher education. Feedback from students and faculty highlights the strengths and areas for improvement in teaching methodologies and curriculum design, ensuring that educational practices remain effective and engaging. Input from employers and practice teaching schools is vital for aligning the program with the needs of the education sector, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to meet professional demands. Alumni feedback offers a retrospective view, providing insights into how the education they received has shaped their careers. This comprehensive approach to feedback helps the college to stay responsive to the evolving needs of all its stakeholders, fostering a dynamic and successful learning environment.
The action taken report outlines several key initiatives undertaken to enhance the academic and professional environment at our institution. We decided to organize various workshops on AI in education, which will provide students and faculty with essential insights into the integration of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning. Following recommendations, we decide to expand the number of self-study courses available, offering students greater flexibility and autonomy in their learning. College recommended enriching library with a broader selection of educational journals, ensuring access to up-to-date research and resources. It was decided to involve Alumni members in college activities, fostering a strong sense of community and leveraging their expertise. To ensure comprehensive coverage of the curriculum, we decided to allocate additional teaching hours, allowing faculty more time to complete portions thoroughly. Furthermore, we decided to conduct numerous training sessions aimed at enhancing students’ employability skills, equipping them with the necessary tools for their future careers. Finally, we are trying to initiate activities related to school management techniques, providing faculty and students with practical knowledge in effective school administration.
